Ben Nurse, forged in Brooklyn, NY, currently resides in Monterey, California. Ben has managed real estate for over 30 years and has been active in commercial property investment and management for the past 15 years.
Ben transitioned from residential sales and management to commercial management at the start of the great recession working with Manco Abbott, a northern California based real estate management firm, and very quickly appreciated the expansive opportunities that commercial real estate provides to investors.
With several firms, Ben has managed a diversified portfolio including institutional grade properties on the Monterey Peninsula, Northern California and Silicon Valley, while focusing on enhancing asset values and maintaining quality relationships with tenants.
Ben first encountered Jesse Hunt while managing a Watsonville, CA shopping center at which Jesse’s firm owned a building. In 2019, Ben was invited to work with Jesse’s team at SAR Enterprises to manage its portfolio of assets across 15 states and ± $425MM total portfolio valuation.
Ben holds a California Broker’s license and enjoys participating in sales and analyzing investment deals.
